Two For The Show...

First we have a sketch of Batman Beyond that I drew in my sketchbook last year when my oldest son, Sage, and I discovered this great annimated series togehter.

I had missed it in it's original run.
I missed out.

The need for me to finish some of the many incomplete illustrations that I have had going over the last several years, and this one in particular, is what brought John Yager and my self into our collaboration.

The second image is the inked version of this Batman Beyond by John Yager.

This is the style in which our upcomming web comic will be executed. And for those of you who read Dirk Manning's Write or Wrong column at Newsarama this week, including comments from me reguarding the importance of collaboration, here is a fine example of John taking my basic drawing, using it as a guideline, and adding so much more with his stylistic choices, that it became an illustration with a whole new life.

Third we have a reworked version of the is sketch into the black costumed Spiderman. I intend for this to be displayed on a fansite, or at CountingDown.com in the near future.
