Daredevil: The Man Without Fear
This piece was pencilled in my sketchbook as a preliminary drawing for an upcoming watercolor painting. I would also like to make note of some behind-the-seens editing that has been taking place here at the FadingSun Studio. My good friend Alan Coil, writer of the Popthought.com column The Sixth Decade, has been editing my posts to present correct spelling and grammar. You can read his newest column by following the link here on this site.

Nightmare World: Character Sketches and Thumbnails.
Here we have the character sketches and page thumbnails that I did in planning out the final layouts. Also included is the original cover rough that was to comprise the "pulp-style" cover, and the pencil sketch that would become the published cover version.

Nightmare World: Just Another Victim Cover
This is the cover illustration that I produced for the upcoming story I have in writer Aaron Weisbrod's Nightmare World: The Same Deep Water As You trade paperback. Originally, I had planned on doing a pulp style cover for the eight pager, but decided to go with an Art Deco poster feel. This piece was pencilled, inked, lettered/designed, and computer colored by myself.

Rocketman King of the Rocketmen
What we have here is the illustraion that is on the first page of my "show" portfolio. This will be the first image a prospective employer will see, so it needs to be great...what do you think? I am always open to suggestions!
